IT'S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES Blog #2

Hello everyone! It was really a great experience that after 21 years of my life I had the chance to visit the hometown of my parents in Mindanao. Its really amazing that I am able to set my foot where's my mother was born and raised. We also visited her former school, ancestral house of their family, beaches and Parks where they enjoy to stay when they are still young.

My decision to visit my mom's place is perfect. I got a chance to meet a lot of  my relatives for the first time. Especially my grandma, who's very strong and independent woman to raised her 6 child by her own because grandpa past away early. We got some time to bond and get to know each other more. I also discovered a lot of things about my mother and father. How they met, how stubborn my father is and a lot of things about them that I'd never knew before. I am happy that I am able to keep this memories with my heart forever.

Mindanao was also my birthplace however in some reasons when I turn two(2) years old my parents need to take a risk and venture into the city of Manila. I really believed that sometimes our destiny is not in the place where we were born. Its beautiful and wonderful to see the other side of life- of the world. Don't be stuck with the place where your life began.

Don't get me wrong guys! I love my birthplace. Mindanao witness how I learned my first step, first walk, and first word. Other people thinks that Mindanao is non-civilized place since it was the boundary of Philippines and base on the news there is a lot of terrorist hiding in this place. It may be ugly outside because of  other description with this place however it was amazingly beautiful inside. There is a lot of small paradise places here and it was my pleasure that I was able to witness it with my own eyes. The water is freshly coming from the mountains. We visited the Spring and San Lorenzo beach since it is just walking distance from my grandma's house. I swear, when I first jumped in to the water I was shaking too much because its so cold even the sunlight is hitting the water directly. People in this place are very respectful, protective and affectionate.

Since we are staying in Balabagan one of the provinces in Mindanao there is a lot of plants, vegetables and fruits in there. The funny thing is it's all free and you can pick it fresh and organic. The fruits are so sweet and fresh that you can smell it even you're far away from it. Durian  which is the king of fruits is one of my favorite fruit even thought the smell of it is not that good but I still love it. The veggies are so fresh like if you gonna bite into it it's so crunchy, love it.  It is really amazing guys! I am not being exaggerated. It's just that I am used that everything are being paid for. I learned that for us to enjoy places we visit we should appreciate little things about it. It doesn't need to be pretentious!

While writing this blog, I found my self smiling because all my happy memories in there are coming back. I am happy that I was able to share with you guys my experience with this places.
